Job Description

The Assessor is responsible for working in the capacity of a Subject Matter Expert in the Security Advisory Portfolio. The role inter-works closely with a number of teams including business, architecture, infrastructure, legal and regulatory, data protection, application development, operations, service management and others to identify risks to the business. The role is typically customer facing and is required to conduct interviews, collect data, analyze necessary documentation in order to perform an appropriate assessment. Post assessment, the advisor is expected to recommend solutions to address those risks and to ensure business satisfies the necessary industry specific compliance requirements.

Job Description - Grade Specific

Responds to customer questions on assessment related issues​ Conducts assessments for small engagements​ Tracks compliance gaps and ensures work to remediate gaps meets deadlines​ Conducts periodic reviews of security policies and procedures Works independently and manages team members as needed​ Possess in depth knowledge of relevant certifications such as ISO2700X, PCI DSS, SOC1 and SOC2​ Holds relevant certifications needed to deliver on the advisory role​ Clearly and concisely documents and presents assessment resultsor solution decks to middle management audiences. Stays abreast on industry specific regulatory and certification requirements​ Leads and drives assessment programs for customers to ensure necessary outcomes are met.​ Supports with the creation and delivery of internal training programs
