SAP Basis

Your role

As the SAP Basis Consultant within our SAP team, you’ll work alongside a team of like-minded individuals within the SAP community and partner closely with our clients on a wide variety of collaborative and innovative engagements.
 

• Operate and maintain a complex SAP environment including:
• S/4HANA, BW, CRM, SRM, PO, GRC, Solution Manager, BOBI, BODS, IDM, OpenText xECM, OpenText Archive Server, and OpenText VIM.
• Perform system administration tasks such as:
• OS, database, and application patching
• System refreshes and client copies
• Performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Implement standard changes and ensure the environment remains current and compliant.
• Collaborate with project teams to provide BAU (Business As Usual) support for ongoing and upcoming initiatives.
• Manage and support high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) configurations.
• Monitor system health and proactively address issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Job Description - Grade Specific

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration.
• Proven experience managing complex SAP landscapes with multiple integrated components.
• Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture, transport management, and system upgrades.
• Experience with HA/DR setup and support.
• Familiarity with OpenText integrations and SAP security concepts is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
