YOUR PROJECT
Support for a portfolio of integrated solutions that accelerate transformation of data into business value. It includes database and data management, application development, integration, and analytics as well as intelligent technologies. It comprises various cloud technologies and represents a distributed environment.
A substantial pillar of it is a set of services in the Security, Data Protection & Privacy, Compliance domain. They are semantically and technically interconnected to enable the overall security posture of the platform and the applications running on top. The services come with particularly high requirements for security, availability, reliability, and performance. Running state-of-the-art DevOps/SRE is key to fulfilling their mission.
YOUR TASKS
Incident Management
• Working in rotation with other team members to ensure 24/7/365 L2 support for service outages, degradations, and major incidents with mass customer impact and/or severe impact for a subset of customers during EU business hours with extended support outside (on – call).
Problem Management
• Follow-up investigation and Root Cause Analysis of occurred incidents by defined processes, including driving the definition and implementation of preventive measures and system improvements.
• Assist development teams by analyzing recurring incidents and identifying opportunities to prevent future failures.
System Management
• Build, develop, and maintain the technical foundation for the deployment and operations of services on top of various IaaS providers, along with the Development teams.
• Contribute actively to the optimization of architecture, resources, and delivery.
• Continuously optimize the toolset which enables reliable and efficient operations, like monitoring, diagnostics, CI/CD infrastructure, etc.
Change Management
• Perform initial, regular, and off-cycle system updates and configurations.
• Identify and suggest tasks and workflows for automation to improve the efficiency and leading to more efficient and reliable system deployment and operation.
• Apply best practices and innovative approaches in the DevOps/SRE domain
YOUR PROFILE
- Expert knowledge of monitoring and logging of Kubernetes clusters (on-premise and/or in public clouds) and required metrics and logs, nice to have Cloud Foundry experience
- Experiences with monitoring and logging systems, particularly Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, Sentry, PagerDuty
- Good understanding of Git version control system
- Good knowledge of Helm
- CI/CD experience (preferred Jenkins)
- Working experience of Python and/or Golang
- Working experience as Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) with Service Monitoring and Operations
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of French language
- Good understanding of Agile practices (particularly Scrum)
- Knowledge of cloud-native security aspects
- Public cloud certificate
- Knowledge of SAP HANA, Postgress, MySQL
