Job Description

The mission of the role is to revise the IT contracts and analyze if the clauses are compliant with the Capgmeni contracting principle and other policies. Specializing in IT contracts, the business lawyer must closely work with the business. Business Lawyers are providing expert advice to the business on risks and mitigations. In order to do so, he/she is building a deep relationship with the business to understand its specific needs and is working as a member of an integrated team.  The business lawyer is understanding the market and ensures that whatever is proposed reflects where the market is at or where it is going. The business Lawyer is working in collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders.

Job Description - Grade Specific

Demonstrates reasonable understanding of contract review process, contracting guidelines, and basic legal and commercial issues, ability to review simple commercial contracts, write legal memos, spot standard legal risks and issues, eagerness and aptitude for deeper learning of commercial contracts, legal issues, risks and mitigation measures, ability to work on assigned legal projects with supervision; reasonable understanding of the internal organization and processes relevant to perform hisorherortheir roles and responsibilities, Provides dedicated support to senior team members to perform their roles and responsibilities.
