Job Description

Cybersecurity Engineers are responsible for maintaining our customers security tools and their configurations, usually involving the security platforms. They are expected to have an understanding of cyber technologies such as endpoint solutions and cloud computing. They will also be involved in use case management, automation working collaboratively with the client and other stakeholders. Cybersecurity Engineers will have experience with security platforms and have the ability to work in a fast paced technology environment. They are expected to have a good level of understanding of threat actors and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures and networking with relevant cyber security qualifications.

Job Description - Grade Specific

• Assisting deployment, configuration, and optimization of security platforms • Handling configuration and troubleshooting of client security infrastructure devices, including SIEM systems and other XDR components • Optimizing detection accuracy by tuning system rules and correlation searches. Performing trend analysis to fine-tune alerts, policies, and configurations, minimizing false positives • Developing and implementing automation processes to enhance efficiencies and best practices • Collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless integration of security solutions. • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and experience of security tool such as SIEM/SOAR • Good analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience in incident, problem and/or change management • Excellent written and verbal communication skill • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, coordinate and work well under pressure • Commitment to work towards industry-relevant certifications (e.g. Comp TIA Network+/Cybersecurity Analyst, MS SC-200)
