Job Description

Responsible for the operations and maintenance of On Premise or client dedicated computing platforms and servers, including: - System engineering and physical datacentre: They install, maintain, patch, upgrade and continuously improve the operating environment. - Backup and Storage: Responsible for the operations across Storage and Data Protection environments. They have ownership of monitoring and reporting first level incidents and alerts, basic administration with help of standard work instructions and assist LP and LM teams on inputs required during new builds, administration and decommission activities of Storage and Data Protection products. They contribute to Capacity and performance reports as part of their role.

Responsible for the operations and maintenance of On Premise, Capgemini or client dedicated, computing platforms and servers, including: system engineering and physical datacentre: Providesmaintenance and support for all system in scope, monitors and executes corrective actions, installsorconfiguresortests operating systems, troubleshoots and conductsincident resolution, liaise with other IT teams and 3d party vendors, develops and executes plans for patching, identifiesopportunities for improvements and efficiencies​ storage and backup: Perform monitoring of all Storage SAN, Backup hardware devices, software tools and applications to ensure agreedSLAsare met. Preparemonitoring reports summarizing the daily health Ensure periodic document upkeep ofall Work Instructions, architectural and landscape documentations and all other relevant documents required by account. Participate and driveDelivery Excellence DEx programs and initiatives towards Continual Service Improvements for all supported customer landscape. Participate anddrive Automation programs and initiatives towards reduction and removal of manual efforts and to optimize efficiency where possible for allsupported customer landscape. Participate and drive DisasterRecovery tests on periodic basis as defined by contracts or as per internally agreed timelines
