Job Description

As an Agile Coach, their role consists of four stances, Coach, Mentor, Teacher and Facilitator. Through these stances, they help guide individuals, teams, portfolios and organizations in adopting and executing the correct Agile Ways of Working for them. Their role will cover the client's initial Agile transformation through the creation and support of core transformation teams (AWG/LACE). For organizations using Agility they will partner in their continued growth and development during their ongoing Agile journey. They will also be key in both the development and running of their Agile learning curriculum, supporting people in all areas of the organization in their learning and development, enhancing this growth through initiating and supporting the running of training courses and role / activity-based communities of practice. Their strong Agile mindset, extensive knowledge in Agile, Lean, XP, etc. and proficiency in the different Agile principles, practices and frameworks make them a trusted advisor for individuals, teams and organizations.​ They incorporate Agile values and principles in everything they do; being an exemplary Agilist and Servant Leader, nurturing strong skills and growth through continuous reflection, learning and improvement. They are comfortable in dealing with the challenges that arise while adopting change, dealing with the impact on organizational culture and are aware of how to navigate through both of these. As a coach their goal is to empower individuals and organizations in creating the right environment, developing high performing teams, synchronizing and aligning customer-centric value demand flow and triggering sustainable cultural / organizational change to effectively meet rapidly changing customer expectations and outcomes.

Job Description - Grade Specific

An Agile Coach works with multiple teams to support their transformation and adoption of an Agile Mindset, Cultural Change and behaviors, and Agile delivery principles and practices. They also work to support the application of delivery and scaling frameworks to enable the iterative delivery of customer value for the organization. They are also actively involved in the wider Agile coaching community and supports growth and learning through internal and external Agile training.
