We are seeking a talented and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering Services team at Capgemini. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving mechanical systems and products for our clients across various industries. You will work on cutting-edge projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and products using CAD software • Conduct analysis and simulations to optimize product performance and reliability • Create and review technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical and software engineers • Participate in client meetings to understand requirements and present design solutions • Develop and implement testing procedures to ensure product quality and performance • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in existing products or systems • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance as needed
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, product design, or related field • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) • Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and simulation software • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, ASME, CE) • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Strong communication and teamwork abilities • Experience in project management and client interaction is a plus • Knowledge of IoT, robotics, or automation is advantageous
