An auditor is a certified specialised in assessing the current state. This from the point of view of the design, implementation and working of the organization, controls and governance related to the defined compliance baselines specific and the security posture in general.​ An auditor is the specialist in judging the risks related to the goals and base line.​ The auditor can judge and certify the situation scope as well the scope itself.​ The task of the auditor is to come to an independent judgement of the compliance and security implementation, governance and design.
